To Sense

ari-Harav Issac Luria (HaAri HaKadosh): "You shall know that before those who were to be inspired received their inspiration and before all creatures were created there was a simple Supreme Light filled all being and there was not an empty space such as empty air space or a void, rather all was filled with that simple Eternal Light...
And then the Endless One limited Himself to a central point which is in the very center of things, and he diminished that light and distanced Himself to the said central point and then there was empty space.
And then the Endless One made a continuation of the light in the form of one straight line and in place of the empty void.  He inspired and created and formed and made all of the worlds".
